Kiss Cutting
Kiss Cutting is the process of cutting labels with a heated knife to fuse the edges of individual labels. This method of cutting allows the labels to remain on their release liner in a continuous roll similar to postage stamps. This allows greater efficiency for machine operators to simply peel individual labels off the roll for pre-finish placement as needed. Kiss Cutting eliminates the individual pieces of release liner littering the shop floor and allows operators the ability to remove labels using one hand. All adhesives used at Avanti Coatings have the ability to be Kiss Cut.
Limitations:
Avanti Coatings can Kiss Cut any label up to 152 mm (6.00 inches) in width without any logical limitation on label length.
